Unter Thomas Hitzlsperger läuft die Suche nach dem VfB-Trainer für die neue Saison auf Hochtouren. Dabei hat der Sportvorstand ein Auge auf den Co-Trainer von Thomas Tuchel bei Paris St. Germain geworfen. Sein Name: Zsolt Löw.

Nach Sky Informationen ist Zsolt Löw einer der Topkandidaten auf den vakanten Trainerposten in Stuttgart. Bereits am Montagabend haben die Schwaben erste Gespräche aufgenommen. Der 43-jährige war zuletzt Co-Trainer von Thomas Tuchel beim FC Chelsea. Gemeinsam mit Tuchel konnte er vor einem Jahr die Champions League gewinnen. Seit der gemeinsamen Freistellung vor gut einem Monat ist er ohne Job.
